Been with Omnis Network for a few months now.  I was a little nervous since this was my first website, but Omnis has made everything pretty easy for me.  It helps that their tech support is always there and is able to answer any question that I have.  Even for a novice like me, they provide technical answers that are easy to understand.  They even have video tutorials that they provide to make it even easier to set up and maintain your website.  User friendly system, polite and helpful technical support, makes Omnis a very good place for people with their first website. 

I choose 247-host.com based mostly on CNET references. After paying for a year on a reseller plan (by the way in which, subscribing for a year seems to be a big mistake when it comes to internet hosting), all my websites and my customer web sites have been working simply fine. After a month, web sites begin to go down for a few hours, principally for server automated processes like auto FSCK (forced into a kernal panic mode), file checks on servers  and sort of maintenance processes. 
In time things start to get worse and kind of messages from tech support like *there was an error on this server and we had to do an OS reboot* begin to annoy my clients. Plus ”help” service begin to grow to be as much as in-existent. Sometimes answers to any questions and queries arrive after 12 to 24 hours, as an alternative of minutes (correctly on a good hosting company).
Finally, all my websites start to be severely hacked and populate with viruses, than changed with different internet websites and mess continue with the worst possible.
Final attacked comply with by all my web sites fully down for nearly two complete days was on July 22, 2010. Of course, after two days where my net websites have been down and downgraded by Google, I decided to maneuver from service and ask for refund.
I did this on 24 Jul 2010. I requested for refund and moved on other supplier and deleted all my domains from 247-host.
After three days they reply to my refund request with this:
*There will be no refund provided. All data was restored on a timely manner as this event of hacking does require for us to go through a process that will restore data on the server and maximize security on the machine which cannot be done within 24 hours.*
Is like saying: ”Hey.. It is more than regular to have your website down than 24 hours (actuality it was: 34 hours down for some web sites and 49 hours for others).

If you need the best web hosting company, I can assure you host gator is the best. The quality of the hosting is really A++. Besides, they provide some ad credits, like google adwords credits as well as others. The hosting features are really wonderful. They provide unlimited Emails, Unlimited Databases, unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth & other unlimited facilities.

I must admit that I'm totally satisfied with my hosting company - Webhostingpad. They are the cheapest in the market if you subscribe for 3 years (only $1.99 per month). Well, cheaper price doesn't mean the service is not good. In fact, Webhostingpad team is doing a very well job in terms of server uptime and live support. I have contacted them a couple of times to ask some technical details or enquiries and the technical support personnel are always there to help me.

Till today, I do not have any big issues with my hosting company and I'm confident with their service. Therefore, I really recommended Webhostingpad to you if you are looking for a cheaper but reliable hosting.

After being with many hosts over the last 8 years i have found hostgator  to be far away the best there is for price and customer support. I have had 100% uptime and with the extra features i get with the resellers package its totally worth it.

We purchased two years of service from this company; however, they failed to provide us with the username and password that would allow us to access the account.  After 11 months of chasing them someone from their billing department FINALLY sent us the access information. 

When we asked that they provide us the 24 months of service we paid for, they refused and claimed that their negligence was somehow our fault. 

I wouldn't trust these people to host a Tupperware party.

I've been with 247-Host.com.com for some time now and, though its very rare with hosting company customers, so far I'm very happy. Some how I have found their chat support online 24/7 and I personally use it quite a lot. It's satisfying to be able to quickly handle the technical side of hosting my site and remain focused on improving the content. I can say that if 247-Host.com keeps it this way, they have for the past year I'm definitely staying. BTW, I actually tried hosting a couple of sites with some other guys, but I really missed the chat support at 247-Host.com (I am admittedly impatient :-). To me the hosting experience with 247-Host.com is more personal and that extra level of service is easily worth the few extra bucks.

I signed up for their two year plan and paid in advance. Not only did they alter the plan mid-contract, they disabled my account without warning and posted an embarassing message on my three websites. 

The message stated:

"Attention EliteHost customers: Our records indicate that you are on a hosting plan that is no longer available. Due to the downfall in the economy, EliteHost has reorganized it's price plans. We are no longer offering the yearly plans. You will need to convert to a month to month plan to resume your service, regardless of your existing plan with us. (Our terms of service states that we can change price plans at any time.) To re-activate your account on the month-to-month Unlimited plan: Monthly Price:  $5.00 Enter your main Domain Name or cPanel Username below and press the subscribe button to enroll in an automatic paypal subscription payment to EliteHost"

I contacted the BBB to try to work out a deal in which I could access my account for a period of 30 days with the intention of backing up and removing my digital data and products.

They refused, stating "On our terms and conditions that was made available to the consumer multiple times during sign up as well as in our 'welcome' new customer information email, it clearly states that:  ''This agreement represents the complete agreement and understanding between EliteHost and the Customer and supersedes any other written or oral agreement. Upon notice published on its web site, EliteHost may modify these terms and conditions, amplify them, and/or modify the prices, as well as discontinue or change any of the services offered.''

I learned my lesson, stay away from the small hosts and go with someone proven and true.
