The Server is Fast and Reliable..
The Pricing of this Web Host is really good as per the plans...
I have the Multi Domain Hosting which is cheaper than what I would have to pay for individual plans..
The only thing I don't like is the WebMail features as it sends you to the FatCow webmail account and you need to login from there.
Usually others offer a custom Webmail like RoundCube , Horde etc...
So the only feature i am dissatisfied with is the Email features but not anything else...

November 2011, my previous host went down and gave me no support. I lost all of my site and off course the revenue.
I decided to host my site with hostgator. After I made my payment, login to the cpanel, and begin to build all my site, I was really surprised. The host is very fast, stable and gives so many features that save me time. Honestly, HostGator is the most expensive hosting that I've ever used. But I'm satisfied with it and this is the best decision that I have ever made in my online business.

This company is the worst and most irresponsible...
WireFuseMedia LLC (known as Pacifichost) has repeatedly changed Terms of Service of www.pacifichost.com, leading to a reduction of consumer rights and responsibilities of WireFuseMedia LLC in the presence of "glitch" problems, which deprived me of the opportunity to obtain redress in the absence of agreed services and damage of stored information.
In my case, after braking there server Polaris in the summer, many customers, including me, loses their information. There technical staffs tell me - we will not do this anymore and offer me 2 more months. I do a mistake – believe in one fake provider.
But it happen again - server go down and my information is lost again. What you think that they do - after I open the ticket DQS-565-60418, there have a response – they send me information on "glitch" problem with closing the open ticket and blocking access to pacifichost.com system with blocking my IP address - 93.152.152.184 (no longer used by me).
Pacifichost must know:
I do not agree with the changes of Terms of Service of www.pacifichost.com, made unilaterally by WireFuseMedia LLC, I disagree with the presence of continuous "glitch" problems and I do not agree WireFuseMedia LLC to blame its backup system for the destruction of my information .

Fatcow is a somewhat good host. Good uptime with topnotch support. But the problem is if you switch nameservers even using their private ip nameserver you could get still mysql errors.
Nevertheless the cost and uptime is good. Recommended for everyone

I have tried several webhost providers over the years, but none have come close to hostgator. They are flexible, have great customer support. Setting up a new site with hostgator takes no more than 10 minutes when using fantastico and installing wordpress. Literally no waiting time for them to set it up, it's all up in a few minutes. Cannot recommend hostgator warmly enough :-)

I started hosting with AllDayHost around 6 months ago and I can say that the experience has been uphill ever since I moved to them. First it was there sales team that inspired me, there sales members had one of the best personalities I have ever come across in the hosting industry, then there free site migration helped me get across the line and finally there support department helped me. I wouldn't ever go for another host, these guys are doing the best job!

I was with HostGator for about a month before I stopped using them. The whole time I was using them I didn't have too many problems with them. The support was pretty good and fast, plus I never really had downtime. The only thing I didn't like about them was the price, it was way to high for me. That is why I stopped using them.

I was using Fat Cow for my website when I first started it and I didn't have a problem with them at all really. I actually even started off with them using a discount so I was very pleased with the deal. I was using them for a few weeks and rarely had problems. The uptime was good, support was great, and overall I liked them a lot. I found another host that fit my budget better.

I was with iPage for less than a month and I was not pleased with them at all. I had multiple occasions where my site went down and there was nothing I could do. The support was helpful but took a while to fix everything. I really wouldn't recommend anyone going with them they just are not worth the price at all.

I have been with HostGator for 3 years and in all my time with them I've been happy for most of the time. The support is very good and the tools that come in cPanel are the best around. They used to charge me a late fee for my monthly payment and most of the time my payments are later but they have stopped late fees. Hostgator is not that expansive and it has to be one of the best hosting companies in the market.

Made the mistake of signing for a membership approximately a month ago. Almost from the onset, experienced numerous performance related problems. Despite submission of more than half a dozen trouble tickets, never received any tangible resolution. Problems included connectivity to backend database, inability to access WordPress admin panel, etc. Without notification, Just Host suspended my account for utilization of system resources in excess of 10%, which is highly doubtful. Without attempting to determine if a Denial of Service (DoS) or other cause was to blame, they promptly suspended my account and posted a large banner stating such on both of my websites. While the technical support number is 24/7, quite often actual access to the system occurs from persons in the Ukraine! To those considering JustHost.com, strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a hosting provider.

Lunarpages have provided excellent Web Hosting services for both myself and my customers. I can not talk highly enough about the all round quality of service I have received. To begin with, the servers are always online - I've not had a moment of downtime to speak of so that suggests to me that they are an immensly reliable host.
Furthermore the features provided are superb and new features are often added. The main features of my plan include excellent bandwidth and data storage, cPanel plus regularly updated scripts. I'm pleased to say that Lunarpages provide me with all of this for a small fee which is another reason why I am happy to speak so highly of their services.
My only MINOR negative comment which prevented me from giving them five out of five for support is the fact that their phone lines are very busy meaning that queues are a regular occurance. However, this is not a major issue as the support I've been provided with when I get through to a customer service representative has always been top class and my issues are fixed in a timely fashion.
Overall, I'm pleased to say that I use Lunarpages as my web host especially since past experiences with other competing companies have been so bad.

I have been with Pacifichost for 5 years. I am incredibly happy with their service and support. Uptime and speed are good, tech support is awesome. Front line support can answer all most all the questions and their email spam filtering is really really superb. The reason for that is that they have turned on all of SpamAssassins heuristic learning capabilities, with which SpamAssassin is effective.

Now iPage is value for money hosting. It gives you a reasonable number of features along with some free vouchers for promotion. Overall I'm okay with their service. Their support system is good and responsive. The only thing that puts a negative mark is the slow loading time or maybe connectivity issue which generally creeps into shared hosting. I use the unlimited plan of iPage and so far it has been a smooth ride.

I've been a FatCow customer for almost one year. It is a better than average hosting provider. If you are just starting out in the web world, FatCow is for you. Their unlimited plan with a decent number of features will give you a sound idea of how things work. Support is not great...but, they will solve your issue at least within 24 hours. Yeah, they give some pretty nice offers to their existing customers. But, serious online business owners must choose a host with faster hosting solution provider.

Very fast support turn-around time! Whatever features I need on the server, the staff installs right away. We needed SSL so the IPXcore staff set us up with a dedicated IP address and SSL certificate. I didnt have to do a thing. They installed all that complicated encryption stuff for me.

Excellent Hosting and easy to upload the template I wanted to use. I am completely satisfied with how easy their system is to use and their customer support is great! I highly recommend them and it was nice to be able to choose from many different platforms to install for my website and it didn't cost me any thing else. IN January 2010 we signed up with Rackspace and hoped for the best as our first experience with managed hosting with 800Hosting was a disaster. The switch to Rackspace has been a great improvement for us. We have been with them for almost a year and have NO complaints about any of our websites, blogs or databases we have hosted with them. They have delivered all that they promised.
Our first experience with managed hosting was with 800Hosting and they delivered NONE of what they promised. They had a great website with great promises, but were more than a disappointment. All of our fully managed websites went down due to a catastrophic failure with their server, and we had to notify them! They did not even know! We purchased monitoring 24/7 so how could that be? We had purchased a fully managed dedicated server so we would not have such problems. They lost valuable confidential customer personal data and almost all product images - gone forever. We purchased daily back up so how could that happen unless they did not provide what they promised?
As you can see, we were very skeptical and worried about our next host. Anyone can make a mistake but they were NO help making things right and showed NO understanding as to how being totally down for 6 days was impacting our business. That really was unbelievable in a web host, and based on their website not possible.
Since moving to Rackspace we have had nothing but peace of mind. They seem to appreciate how much our success depends on them delivering the goods. They provide monitoring, pro-active support, technical support 24/7, and improved server performance. They more expensive BUT NO down time, no data loss and no worries. This is priceless to us.
We wished we would have found Rackspace before 1-800-Hosting!

I was amazed when I saw there site. They offer a cheap yearly hosting plan. I bought one year from them and at the start there hosting is a little bit choppy. They say it's due to unscheduled server maintenance on my server. After 2-3 hours the server is up and now I'm happy and satisfied with their hosting cause I really got a good site uptime. Support is however snobbish. I recommend this site for good hosting

By reviewing the services at 1-800-Hosting and submitting our experiences online to hosting review websites, we were finally able to gain the attention of the owner of 800Hosting. Now they wanted to talk, but we did not. Instead they could talk to my lawyer. 1-800-Hosting added insult to injury by labeling our host review posts of the facts as a “smear campaign” and threatened to sue us.
As with our previous first 800Hosting Dedicated Server Review post, we present this as our personal experience with 800Hosting and all the information provided is factual. We have E-mails, web histories from Google, and website analytics. I welcome any call or E-mail regarding this hosting review by a business owner with a web site who needs a host. 800hosting was unwilling to acknowledge their misrepresentations to me regarding their services and their catastrophic failure harmed my companies SIGNIFICANTLY. The ticket system works great and everytime I used it when I needed it I got clear, concise and helpful replies to what I needed to do or what they were doing to resolve my problems. For all that, though, the support has still been far faster and friendlier than what I had to put up with before!
The speed of my websites has been amazing since I switched from my old host and that was the main factor that made me want to switch in the first place. I haven't experienced any downtime at all so far.

Hello friends, Here is my experience with bluehost. Before selecting hosting I was confuse between hostgator and bluehost but finally i chose bluehost because I got a discount and nice reviews about them. So overall $94 for 2 year is not bad. I had setup my wallpaper site which is 99.99% uptime and that's the great thing about bluehost. Another nice feature is their live customer and technical support. I am very happy with their service. But the one and only bad thing is that they have file count limit of 200000 in unlimited plan also :( and than i come to know when i reach near the limit so it's not good if you want to host any wallpaper site like me you cannot upload unlimited wallpapers. So overall 4/5 stars.

I was recommended this web host by a friend who told me they have very good support. In fact I have absolutely no technical knowledge and yet I have managed to get a few sites hosted there. The support staff is indeed very good and the live chat staff answers your queries very promptly. When I submitted a ticket, the longest waiting time was a few hours. They will even transfer your sites from one host to another if you give them the login details so its very easy for the customer. Although there are cheaper hosts, this host is worth it because besides having a very easy control panel and excellent support staff, as long as I have been with them, there has never been any downtime that I know of. I would recommend this service to others especially those who like me had no idea where and how to start.

I swear every moment with 1 & 1 was terrible, yes domains from £0.99 but terrible quality of service. They often put me on hold when I had questions and I found that they never really replied to support tickets. I would steer clear of 1 & 1 Definitely not a host to be with F Grade.

Today I want to share the webhosting experience my cousin and I had with webhostinghub. He has used webhostinghub for almost 9 months now and I must say that their services are outstanding amongst all available hosting companies. The most exciting features are their price, no downtime, reliability and support.
I remember once my website was not working and I was not sure what the problem was so I contacted their support team and within fraction of time...they resolved my issue.....the problem was my IP was blocked by firewall....well, it was a small issue but what I appreciate is their humble and real time support.
They also offer a free domain name with their hosting package so you can save a few bucks of registering a domain name. Most importantly they use Melbourne IT to register domains which is best in the domains industry. They offer average 99.9% up time guarantee but there is certainly not a downtime I have ever faced. Host Gator really does excel with it's service, I host multiple sites with HostGator and with a slim budget I've never had a better experience. Regarding support, they are probably the best I've used. If your a week off payment (Due to work) they can push your deadline! It's pretty unique and helpful I must say. Going with the value, What more can I say? When you purchase they chuck loads of unnecessary products into the basket, but with a few clicks you can go from $70 to $5. It's a business what more can you expect them to do.

Ipage to begin with has been my choice after remarkable amount of market survey. I found them to be one of the only websites offering quality service with consistency. When I first subscribed to iPage I found the plans far more reasonable and economical than other providers. We have been using Ipage for quite a few months now. We initially started out by using a 1month trial account given to us by Ipage and ended up extending our membership for a whole year. Coming to the functionality and service. I found the dashboards and tools provided to be very user friendly and intuitive. Considering I was a novice, installing Wordpress and getting it working was a cake walk. When I took over the responsibility for finding a new host company and uploading the sites myself, I needed help and the Ultrawebsitehosting guys were very patient.
Recently, one of my sites got hacked and I hadn't backed it for a few weeks. They replaced the corrupted files from their backup and fixed my site for me and didn't charge a penny.
I should also say that control panel is modern and there are all the extras that you need. They always update all their programs to the newest version, like Cpanel, fantastico, MySQL, Apache etc. the website is always online and running fast. They run their own servers and UltraSpeed seems to make my sites load a little bit faster.

I bought sharing plan for one of my site at M2Host. Within 10 days of hosting I found my site down for more than 48 hours. When I raised ticket regarding site down, I didn't get reply from M2Host Support. When I tried to call them then mentioned phone number on M2Host website was found wrong. I chatted with support person but didn't get reply regarding site down and when it would up.
Finally, I cancelled my hosting plan within Moneyback Guarantee (within 10 days and Moneyback guarantee for 30 days). But M2Host didn't refund me single penny and single reply about my refund ticket with Billing department and Support department.
Beware of M2Host hosting.They are offering UNLIMITED bandwidth, Unlimited Disk space with UNLIMITED DOWNTIME too. You might loose your money as well as site too. M2Host is found totally scam. Don't go with them and never trust them.

I was looking for a Cheap and reliable Web Host, after searching Google I found ipage. $2.95/Month with Many Powerful Features to start over it was a great deal for me. It has been 2-3 Months with them and believe me i am really satisfied with their service. Their Customer support is really Good ask as many Questions you want and they are ready to help you.
Two things i don't like about them is they don't support cron jobs and uses V-Desk..
Cpanel is much better then V-Desk..
Overall i would Recommend ipage for all those who are looking for cheap and reliable Hosting Company.

Hostgator.com USA has excellent support but hostgator.in , India customer support is not good. They often talk rudely to the customers. When I booked my hosting plan on VPS server, I found that there is no SFTP server installed and I am not able to connect with my VPS using filezilla, so I contacted customer care, he talked very rudely and told me that they will charge me for SFTP server installation. Actually SFTP server in a default server which is used to connect with FTP softwares. But they are stupid they talked very rudely . so at last i contacted Hostgator.com USA and they solved my problem.

It was killing me to have downtime all the time and so I researched hosts based on uptime and price, looking for a new home. Found PacificHost and decided to give them a try. I have been hosting all my websites with PacificHost for over a year now with great satisfaction.

I have been using hostgator to host my humor site Snortpiggy.com. I must admit that I am only somewhat satisfied with service and support this company has been shown. I find there servers are somewhat slower than other hosts and when you need support, email takes a while. I haven't had to use the call center, mainly I have tried to avoid using it. While hostgator hasn't been poor enough to force me to switch hosting companies, I wouldn't use this company if I were to re-signup today. I also don't think the value is all that great either.

I've been with HostTheName for awhile now and will be switching to another web host. I am a web designer and found HostTheName at a too good to be true bargain price. I make websites for people so I needed a web host that can hold all my websites. Hostthename has very horrible up-time and all the websites take forever to load. Many of my clients have websites for their business so the website being up is a must. I'd highly recommend spending the extra $20 going with another host like HostGator.

I would like to take my time and review this great webhosting service that I have found.
I have been with HostCell since 2009. They have one of the best hosting platform that I have found so far.
I started using Hostcell on the recommendation of a co-worker of mine. I'm amazed at the level of service that they provide given the price they charge. It has been a very pleasant 2 years of service.
Awesome support even though a bit slow but they are straight on there point. Fast server, easy to talk support staff.
Price is reasonable but might be a bit expensive for newbies. They do not over sell and this what i liked about them.
As others have noted, support is very responsive and I've never waited more than 15 minutes or so for a response.
Very highly recommended!

I started using Hostgator about half a year ago and they are amazing. The prices are also amazing, they are not the cheapest but for the service you receive it works out to be dirt cheap. Their server has never been down and is always fast. Like many other hosting companies they provide unlimited bandwidth usage and storage space but when they say unlimited, it really is unlimited, my site currently has nearly 1 TB of information and that's totally fine with them. Another great thing about HostGator is there live chat support, you don't have to wait ages for them to connect to you and they answer very fast, also if for example you don't know how to create a sub folder or anything else, they can do this for you, they even help you to install third party software to your site! They also provide you with a $100 adwords voucher with any package and many other free software, like forums, shopping carts, wordpress, loads of free templates and much more! Hostgator is by far the best hosting provider that i have ever used.

I had been hosting with different hosting companies over the years and for the most part I had good success with most of them, but one always stood out from the others, inmotionhosting.com
As you can see, by this review, I am not earning any money by posting this here, I am just posting here to help others that “like me in the past” have a hard time deciding who or where to host your website.

For 4-5 years now I have been hosting with inmotionhosting.com, for the most part they have served me very well. The main key to their success is their customer support, WOW is all I can say! In Aug 2011 I had made up my mind that I wanted more than they had to offer “mistake on my part” but let me explain.
I was in the process of designing a more intricate website and I thought that I would need more then what they “posted” they were offering so I set out to find a hosting provider that would allow me to do a bit more than what was being offered!
After going through the messy “less than honest” reviews posted out there by money hungry internet geeks looking for referral bucks, and spending precious time emailing many hosting providers with my many questions in order to prevent me from making a mistake by signing up with a hosting provider that will have me shaking my head at every turn in the road.
Disappointed with what I was finding out there, I finally thought why not ask my current hosting provider inmotionhosting.com! Hey, it was that simple, I had many conversations and many email communications with their customer support and guess what? They could accomplish everything that I sent their way, many changes needed to be made to my server that were let’s say “out of the norm” and they had no issues with that.

I am pleased dealing with PacificHost web hosting. It is a really professional host, and they have the quickest support ever.
I particularly like cPanel which I never had before and the ability to do things like upload zipped files and unzip them in file manager.
Their servers have only been down once while I have been with them and during that time they kept me fully informed/updated as to the progress being made in getting them back online.

The best thing about HostGator hosting, in my opinion, is their stellar support!! . Live chat is the most helpful method to get questions answered quickly and effectively. The other important thing for me is that they help me when I mess things up on my sites, previous hosts I used just answered 'You messed it up, you solve the problem" Hostgator support just takes a deep breath and gets me out of my self-inflicted problems. It have been using Fatcow for more than 2 years. There support is excellent but the website sometimes loads slower than usual but I contacted customer care and have solved my problem. There support is online 24X7 so they are very quick with solutions. They provide a full feature Control panel with all necessary scripts. They give you advertisement credits which is worth the lowest price. The only Problem is that you don't get cPanel for their control panel. Except for that everything is fine with this hosting.

I've been with Host Gator for about 9 months and not once have I regretted it! Host Gator is an incredible company. They have 24/7 chat support who really know their stuff. I have had to use the chat support numerous times and not once have a met anyone unfriendly or disgruntled. Even when I'm bored and talk in the third person they manage to keep their cool. I don't think I could do that! Only once has my site ever gone done, and in a few hours is was back up and running. The price for shared hosting is a bit steeper than some other companies, but I don't want to go with anyone but the best.

It has been more than an year since I first Started using Justhost. They have very good support. Every time I've had a problem or questions, they solved within 5 minutes. It's a high grade hosting company. The Only Problem I had was regarding the Emailing system. If Someone reports your email sent from a Justhost server as Spam then they block your mailing system. I have purchased a 4 year Package (as it gave me more savings!) I rated them 4/5 for everything, they are good allover!

I signed up with Fatcow at January 2010.Their site was really attractive which made me give it a try. It was my first hosting experience and I must say it was a big mistake choosing them.
At November 2010 I left FatCow due to their really really slow loading times. it's a real pain! And their support is neither the greatest nor the fastest. Their prices are reasonable though,I don't suggest anyone going with an "unlimited" plan.
I signed up with iPage in March 2011.Their site was really attractive which made me give it a try. It was my third hosting experience, and I must say it was a big mistake choosing them. I’m writing about my review and experience with Hostplate.com web hosting service which I thought might be useful for those wondering whether they should go with this company.
I have been with several web hosting companies since I started a consulting business which mainly receives its orders from the net. 5 months ago, I decided to upgrade from shared hosting to VPS considering a higher volume of traffic was on my website per day. I found HostPlate.com in a forum post where people were talking about their unmetered plans. Considering their money back guarantee, I decided to give it a go even though I confirmed everything with their live chat.
I ordered linux gold package which comes with 2 GB RAM and 2 VCPU (2x 1.5 Ghz).
This server in my idea has had nothing less then true performance. It must be the hardware they use because i have ordered and used several servers for specific applications i always need to run in which this server handels them very well.
Talking about support, I rate them 9 out of 10. Tickets are responded generally in 10 minutes where in non business hours might take maximum of 3 hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. I just didn’t feel it to be fair to give full 10 even though there were nothing negative I can remember.
Live chat is online almost all the time and they can be helpful if you have an urgent matter. I forgot to mention that they offer 7 day money back guarantee which I read on forums is issued right after your request without any questions.
This was my review for Hostplate.com. Please consider that this was not the only good hosting website I came across. I will be posting reviews about other quality hosting companies very soon

I've used hosting services by 3 different companies but HostMonster is the best. Most of my websites sell real services/products to end users, so I chose HostMonster which I think is the most reliable player in Market. I've been with them for 2 months but because of their impressive support, via - live chat & email, I purchased 2 years of hosting from them. Support is really cool be it pre-sales (pricing & setup) or resolution of technical issues. I faced a couple of core technical issues with PhpLd script, but they were fixed instantly. All I had to do is open the live chat window and type 2 sentences. Also I like lot of freebies which they provide to every hosting customer especially the SEO tools. Yes they don't have Fantascio easy script installer, but I find their SimpleScript installer easy to use.(Submit all details in a form and wordpress blog's created instantly) As a happy customer looking forward to stay with HM for long. This is my 5th Year with 1and1 Hosting which I use for 5-6 of my heavy traffic blogs. The best part of 1and1 is world class server infrastructure which sustains huge traffic that my websites/blogs receive. All my websites feature lot of Images, Youtube Videos, Advertisements along with long articles but loads fast enough. Only once in last 5 Yrs, I was asked by abuse department to remove a resource intensive script, which I did with respect because Shared Hosting has limits. Billing - They provide discount offers/deals to existing customers too. I get billed every 3 months according to plan, so any time I can move away from them.(but no reasons to move out now) Cons - I've to install scripts like Wordpress, Joomla on my own which I manage being an experienced webmaster. There is no cPanel/Fantascio. Feature wise also they are not that great. Pros - Can sustain huge traffic unlike other shared hosting sites (My sites get around 10,000 impressions per day), their data center is the best (their own DC), they are a big corporate house unlike others who are just resellers. Also price is cheap.

I have been very satisfied with FatCow hosting thus far. My only problem, though, is that I feel my sites on their servers are slower than my previous sites hosted with other companies. My current websites are small blogs without a lot of traffic, so the speed doesn't drive me too nuts. Afterall, they are still fast--just not lightening fast!
The best part of FatCow hosting is their customer service. When I had problems signing up, they immediately fixed my issue over the phone. When I had a technical problem, they replied to my online inquiry within 24 hours and gave me detailed instructions that helped my fix my problem.
Overall, I am satisfied with FatCow hosting. Customer service is very important to me and they have really nailed that aspect of their business.

If it was possible I would give Hostgator´s support a 10 out of 5. Over the years I have been with various web hosts until having finally found my home on the Internet with Hostgator. I started out with their hatchling plan where you can have a single domain plus both unlimited bandwidth and server space. But within not even a month I expanded to their baby plan which basically offers the same yet allows for unlimited domains. Their hosting comes with cpanel and offers the fast installer Fantastico, free emails, on-site cart scripts and pretty much every modern feature you can possibly think of . Setting up a wordpress site is done in the blink of an eye. Whenever I had an issue, be it technical or financial, and contacted their support I never had to wait longer than 1 minute in line. It is the kind of support that takes things I felt overwhelmed with into their hands and did it for me. Their tech suport is nothing short of supreme. Once or twice we hit an issue the direct customer tech service could not sort out on the spot and they assigned the task to their "behind the scene" wizzes. Within the hour I got contacted and informed that the issue had been looked at and got resolved. Another feature I like about hostgator is the fast loading time of my sites :-)

I've used Hostgator for approximately 1 year now and I am extremely satisfied with this host. This host has given me almost no problems in uptime and support. I've had a couple of problems with uptime but only for a few minutes. What I like about them is the fact that they really have a nice support system including 24x7 live chat support. They have helped me with all problems including problems caused by me as well. There hosting is quite reliable too. Though they have excellent support and service, I think there price is a little too high as compared to other web hosts offering the same services. IMHO, Overall, this company is excellent but for persons on tight pockets might not like it much.

I've used Pacifichost for quite a long period of time. Most of the traffic stems from a webcam which uploads several pics per minute. Reliability is 100% I honestly cannot remember the last downtime our site has had that wasnt because of something I did.
The server uptime and overall speed performance are outstanding and consistent.

I have never had such a high level of support from a company before. These guys bend over backwards and go out of their way to assist. The only reason I have contacted support is due to questions about setting things up, and I should say they were very fast and helpful, explained me every important thing I needed to know.
Excellent pricing for a lot of room and features, very fast server, Great and known Cpanel with a load of features plus Free web site builder. Not to mentioned 20% off WaW....
I feel confident that my site is up and fast running at all times. this is also due to their stable servers, fast speed connectivity and good work of their staff.
In conclusion, I'd like to suggest this decent host to any business site or new personal with no idea about how to build a web site personal blog/forum and who is looking for a new provider or even looking to move from the current host that got on the nerves.

After looking at almost all the other hosts on this site I chose to go with IX Web Hosting, and I am glad I did. Sure up-time has not been 100% but no host can maintain that, IX is honest and addresses problems directly and in a very timely fashion. I've seen a lot of bad things about their support as well but I have only good things to say about it, I also noticed in a blog post by their CEO they just hired a whole new CR team or something. I've been with JustHost for just over two years now, and I must say that they're the most impressive host I've been with so far, especially as far as support goes! I've hosted a variety of websites with them, and although they are an overseller, which turns many people off, they really will let you use as much space as you can! I have used several web hosts before. InMotionHosting is by far one of the best performance hosts I've ever used (I took their power plan). They have perfect 100% up time for more than 3 months, the speed is great, their support has also help me a lot.
Although the price is little overpriced, they didn't provide advanced DNS editor and postgresql for my cPanel, but overall, they are great! I highly recommend them for everybody who needs reliable business hosting. I can't say enough positive things about the company and the people working there.

HostGator was acting as an average host for the time I was with them. Their uptime and reliability was what you would expect from any host, however their support seemed to have lacked quite a bit, forcing me to move on to another host considering I constantly open new websites. They had the features that you needed to have to get running, but didn't have many additional things and luxury features that some other hosts offer. However, for a cheap price it was definitely worth it!

InMotion hosting offers the best support ever! I have been with several hosts but the technical support staff of InMotion are very knowledgeable and helpful. They go out of the way to even fix issues that are caused by mistakes on my side. The features might be a little lacking and the prices a bit higher compared to other hosts. What i love most about JustHost is cPanel! Most big hosting companies use their own control panels but JustHost uses cPanel which is much more user friendly than the others.
They offer several features and have good speed. Their support is not that great and there are long waiting periods but the hosting is pretty stable so you hardly need them. Competitively priced JustHost is a good host.

iPage is a sister site of Fat Cow. It is one of the cheapest hosting I have seen around. But it proves to be pretty bad! It is feature packed but the problem lies in the fact that your site is down half the time. The support is online but has no clue about whats going on and most of the time spend 15mins of your time before opening a ticket. If you use a MySQL intense site then this host is not for you. They claim to have made it better but still there are so many times when the database cannot be reached. Static pages work fine but with blog and shopping sites, database is everything. Smaller entry level sites and admins can appreciate the easy to use site builder and interface though advanced users may find cPanel more comfortable!

Hostgator has been nothing short of wonderful. I've experienced no problems, no down times, and extremely reliable support. I had an issue with a malware on my site through a hole in a wordpress script and support was very quick to pinpoint the error and let me know what exactly needed to be done to solve the problem. I am a hostgator customer, and happy with them to a great extent. I have my site hosted on hostgator's Hatchling plan. Its good, but the only set back i face is that it allows only a single domain to be hosted. The Baby plan allows for more than one domain.
Hostgator has very good uptime, in my span of 3 months with them I only faced downtime once that was only for a for a few minutes lol. Their support is good as well, I often get replied within a day.
Overall, I like their hosting very much but its a lil bit expensive IMHO.

I was looking for a good hosting website and was previously with many web hosting providers, Pacifichost is one of the best hosts I've ever dealt with.
After a while I decide to cut down the cost for the server, and i wanted unlimited bandwidth, diskspace (back when I signed up this wasn't unlimited, but still big enough for me to call it unlimited).
Their support was also very helpful in the few issues I had. My web site has only once had problems, about 4 hours, but when I contacted them they said they were already working on it. Indeed, it was fixed within an hour.
Billing is automatic, and always correct. Pricing is reasonable.
I would recommend these guys!

At first I was a little apprehensive about joining them because of bad reviews etc from research on hosts but still I wanted to go with a company that was big because the guy I used before burnt out and took all my websites (content, databases & saved email) with him. Since joining hostgator I have never had any serious problems and have always found their customer support prompt and helpful. I've had numerous ups and downs with my websites over the years and hostgator has always cleared up and sorted everything out. I feel the security is pretty high and even when one of my email accounts got hacked and used to spam they shut it down, changed my password and sent me a notification. Not some rude email blaming me for spamming but an email explaining various techniques on how not to let that happen. I would say that they should reward loyalty to members who have been with them for a long time by giving them a free month here and there :)

Hello,
I am a customer of Hostnine.com and going to review it now. I am completely satisfied with the hostnine. I have a reseller level one account with them, but i don't resell and only use it personally as i have many sites.
Their uptime is really great and in my experience I have never faced any server issues with them, thats the best thing i like of them. Besides, I love their support. You get replied within one day, but sometimes i do get replied from them within an hour as well..
Overall, they are a great host. I love using them and will recommend them everywhere.

I'm going to review fatcow today. Their service is definitely excellent. As for their service, when their customers encounter any problems, they try their very best to help. For example, I encountered an error on their hosting on time and I received support using live chat, they helped me out for 10 minutes! All I can say is the level of commitment was high and the attitude towards customers was great. Their uptime was simply amazing. In about a year when my site was hosted under Fatcow, I only encountered 1 downtime and immediately recovered within 10 minutes. I was really pleased with their service. Well, you may think that the value of the hosting service is really expensive. But personally I think that good stuff is meant to be expensive, and you get what you paid for. Overall, I personally think that you would feel happy with your site hosted under Fatcow and would never ever disappoint you with their service. Overall Rating: 5/5

After suffering through the disintegration of my web and mail hosting provider, I limped to PacificHost. I've been incredibly pleased with the speed of their tech support and except for one billing problem, they've been an absolute dream to deal with.
The servers are smooth, and they're always on top of things, constantly updating the forums, answering any questions and making sure I'm happy.
The support people are friendly, knowledgeble, respectful and eager to solve any problems I run into.
Would recommend this host for anyone. I think in this day and age, everybody can provide pretty much the same equipments, technology and prices.

I have experience as a web designer but my sites had been hosted at academic institutions, this was my first experience with a comercial host. I know just enough to be dangerous, and PacificHost web has been great in both helping me do more and be safe at the same time. The add-on scripts have worked almost flawlessly, and I have been able to fix minor glitches with no problems.
One thing that attracts me is also their pricing. Its very cheap compare to other host and they also give some interesting discount rates.

Have been pretty happy with this host, last host was terrible. Came to this one because of free domain offer and had a 10% off voucher. Gave the company a 4/5 on uptime because loading speed of pages can be very quick or can take a while, can change between pages.

I cant say enough good things about Pacifichost. I have been completely impressed with them. Its the best. You can enter a service request in and most of the time it will be answered within minutes.
Mail system is superb, with spam controls, webmail and mailing list management about as good as one could want.
I have NEVER had even a blip in server functioning.
They could double their price and I would stay with them. They are that good and you won't be disappointed. I don't think I will ever leave.

I used several other web hosts before coming to pacifichost and I had a lot of problems with downtime and slowness when the site wasn't down. It was killing us so I looked for other hosts and based my research on uptime and price. I chose pacifichost and they have been everything that I could have hoped for with absolutely no problems since we moved to their hosting. When I need support it is very quick and they take care of the issue with no attitude. I'm not an IT guy so this is important to me. Don't have any complaints about ignorant techs or availability issues, they have always been there for me. I can't say I have enough knowledge to tell you more about their reliability and uptime but at the very least the customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

I would like to submit a review of Recon Hosting. I am a FPS gamer and have been involved in online activities for many years now. I have had an active community of gamers hosted with most of the big web hosting companies out there as well as with the GSP that offer hosting. I moved to Recon Hosting in April of 2010. Back then they were a Game Service Provider and I had all of my services through them (Game Server, VoIP server and Web Hosting). I do not host my games there any longer but I do have my Dolphin Web site and VoIP hosting with them.
I would like to start off by saying that back in they day Recon was completely dedicated to the gaming world. The owners TJ and Jim could be found on their own servers playing against anyone who challenge them. That is how I met them and got service from them. I transferred my web site over to the in April of 2010 from another host and I have not been sorry for that move. The guys over there really know there stuff when it comes to web hosting. The company may be small but their support is world class. I recently moved from the standard in gaming web sites CMS, Nuke Evolution Extreme, and went with a Social Media Software named Dolphin. I found the info on the Recon site (http://www.reconhosting.com/dolphin.php) while going to pay my bill one day. There is also some good info from their blog and knowledge base about Dolphin Social Media Software. I put in a support ticket asking for some detailed information and started the process of getting the Dolphin Site (http://www.reconrangersclan.com) up and going.
TJ and Jim have been wonderful in helping me learn this new site and how to use it. TJ helped me get the site installed through their Softaculous 1 click install. Jim helped me with RMS or Ray Media Server install which gives me access to Streaming Video, White Board, Video Chat, et cetera... In short I would recommend Recon Hosting in a New York minute. I had been using another host for my blog and was facing a hell lot of uptime problems. Then i switched to liquidweb hosting servers and my problem got solved and there was no problem after that. They have 3 shared hosting programs which cost $15, $20 and $25 respectively. I am using a webmaster program which costs $20 per month, it's a bit expensive but believe me nothing is better then that. You can register 3 domains for free with this program. You can also see server status as well, which many hosts don't disclose. There support is heroic, just open a support ticket and you will get a reply in minutes. Features are a bit less but enough for me anyway. You will surely get the full value for your money Go For Liquid Web ;)

I moved to Stucel Hosting since I had a very crazy experience with previous host. It was often down!
I never regret my decision moving to Stucel Hosting, because it's very reliable, powerfull, and best of all... I never had any downtime moments. Maybe once or two, but still acceptable (2 mins).

I was using the shared hosting and my sites were just increasing so I went with HostV's VPS service and never looked back again. I was a customer of Bluehost and then HostMonster. They deactivated my website due to a stupid reason that there was a phising email from my domain. This email was sent from another server because the phiser wanted to exploit our domain's reputation. However, HostMonster still terminated my account despite that we didn't violate the TOS. I stored couples of gigs of data in that account, and I need it to be active so that my new host can download it over http. Again, the customer support gave me unacceptable answer. He couldn't specify which term that we violated he just said "our website isn't secure". I was totally disappointed with that answer. Be careful if you want to host at Bluehost and Hostmonster. You may be kicked out someday if someone or your competitor fakes your domain to send phising emails. Hostmonster will say that your website isn't secure and won't assist you moving out! You will end up losing everything like me today.

I looked into this account and it has had a number of violations over the past few months including the aiding and distribution of copyrighted movies in HD and Blu-ray formats. They had some sites that were sending out phishing emails and then the sites were causing issues with MYSQL databases. The account was given multiple warnings and finally we had to ask them to leave our service.

"You do have cPanel and FTP access to allow you to copy your files." You had the ability to download your data and therefore did not lose everything. The price is OK, I guess it can be cheaper but then I might not get the reliability that HostV gives me and I prefer that my sites are up more than down. Hosting is one of those topics that gets to some people because of bad experiences. I am one of those people that had their ups and downs with hosting. I finally found a good place with Hostv. Hi all... I've been with Host Monster for over 3 years now. For the 1st two and half years HM was truly fun and an enjoyable journey but lately their standard has drop. Not in all areas though. I mean Host Monster still provides a very good customer service and live support.
But they really took a MASSIVE drop on their uptime. My web is suffering downtime at least once a week or once every fortnight over the past 3 to 4 months. My web was up and down for almost the whole day yesterday. Number of visitors dropped from 6000 + to under 2000 and page views dropped from 18000 to under 10 000. I really hope they get their act together and do something about it because it’s really a shame as they are extremely good in all other areas.

i've buy corporate shared hosting.. Only to comply with the rule "respond in an hour" sometimes the support is too fast and do not read carefully the questions, although I must admit that I did not need any help since the service works perfectly, the servers are fast and The domain name registration is quick! Another flaw in my opinion is the control panel for shared hosting, a bit slow and graphically horrible, but once you purchase the service if you ask they give you access to the new control panel in beta, really powerfull. Ultimately, i'm completely satisfied with their service, and i hope that does not change over time.

Hostv did an excellent job of helping us get our site transferred then they followed up by making sure that we had everything working. I don't know why some of the others are complaining. Perhaps they just sat there and did not write support. Each time we submitted a ticket we always got a reply in reasonable time and further followup until the issue was resolved. Hit Web Design has been a nightmare. After more then 18 months I still do not have a useful website because my emails will not function. I have hired 2 IT guys to come and find the reason and both have said it is due to Hit's server. They charge me $29/month to host for all these months and are unwilling to help resolve the issue other then saying "it is my problem because my website is okay". Do not use this company! From day 1 I had problems. They contract most of their services to people all over the U.S...writers, etc. I even had to rewrite my info pages because they did not take the time to learn my product (toners) and wrote amateur info at best. Layout of the pages took more then 7 months before I gave in and accepted what they had done...still, I cannot use the site and am now getting another web design company to take the site and make it work for me. Hit is a disaster and I have found numerous law suits and complaints filed with the state of Utah, etc. My rating would be zero if there was a rating that low.

Fused hosting , when i signed up with this site for my proxy website i expected a lot of service from them but they never responded.
Initially i looked at fusedhosting site and immediately i paid using my cc(monthly subscription) thats the mistake i have done , even after 20 days they didnt responed and never mailed me my cpanel password /id.around 25 times i mailed them , all were fake mails , they never worked, i tried to call them an ISD call but they never responded. Still i am feeling bad that every month my a/c is debited 2.5$ unnecessarily without using their service.This is worst hosting scam in the world, i suggest not to go to this host whatsoever.Infact all of them should ban them from hosting community.I am in great pain.DONT GO FOR FUSED HOSTING

These Guys really have a super fast support system.
Whenever i opened a support ticket, i got a response in like 2 minutes, besides the owner (i guess?) Paul is a nice guy to get along with.
Their uptime is great and the most important thing is they have redundant DNS which means no waiting for DNS propagation :).
The prices are also affordable, and they dont compromise on quality like others.

I have had my website for over ten years, and during that time I have had about half a dozen servers. In June 2010, I transferred my website to a VPS on PacificHost. I cannot begin to tell you of the problems that I had with them, but please don’t stop reading because this is a GLOWING report.
I just want you to understand that there were problems. Day after day there were problems, literally hundreds of problems, to a point that after three months I was so frustrated that I just wanted to go anywhere else. My website is very large with lots of databases, and there are always problems when transferring to a new host, but unlike on PacificHost, they are usually resolved within the first couple of weeks. I really was not looking forward to having to start over again, but I decided that I just could not continue on with them. I was spending all my days just dealing with one problem after another, not making any progress whatever with new development.
Just as I was shopping for a new server they hired Jerry Smith as their new Tech Support Manager. Within a matter of days Jerry had fixed most of my problems that had eluded their techs for so many months. Unfortunately some of the problems would reappear, but Jerry was on the job for, what appeared to be 24 hr shifts, and he quickly resolved each issue as it happened.
With Jerry in charge I decided that I would stay for at least another month to see if the problems were resolved once and for all. Sadly, new problems arose, but now, with each problem, the issue was fixed quickly and properly.
I have waited a couple more months to see if we finally have a stable website, and I’m delighted to say that we do. Not only are all problems resolved, but Thomas Perry, owner of PacificHost, upgraded my service to the next level to make up for all the problems. Now how many companies do that without being asked!
With all of my other hosts I thought they were good, but I was always shopping for a better deal financially when it came time for renewal, and I really didn’t have any reservations about leaving them for a host with a better price.
After my gamut of experiences with PacificHost I am now so committed to them that it is with great pleasure that I endorse them whole-heartedly, with specific praises and gratitude to Thomas Perry and Jerry Smith. I have no reservations in recommending them to everyone! I believe that they now have all the kinks worked out for their new clients, and that you would be extremely happy with them as a host.
They have an excellent Tech Support Manager, and it is obvious that the Owner is an upstanding and honourable man. What more could you want. Their prices are excellent, they offer apps like Red5 that most other servers don’t, and their support is so far above and beyond what I have experienced anywhere else that it is my intention to stay with them permanently. I recommend them without reservation and rate their performance at 100%!

Inmotion hosting is no more than a fraud . Four months have passed and thousands of dollars have been lost due to incompetence and rude people who could care less about your website. Over four months ago I paid Inmotion to create a Business Class Web Site. To date I have yet to see a working website. I started off by selecting a style of page and then was given a completion date. To date there is not one single feature on the site I asked for. Nothing on the site is how I envisioned. Better yet every deadline was missed and after four plus months of paying these people I still do not have a working website. Calls are never returned and unless you get the programmer on the phone who is assigned your account nothing gets done. Save your money find someone else to build your website.

Update from my previous review. I have been with iPage for last 3 months now. I am quite pleased with the service. They offer 99.9% uptime and I have experienced it. Besides it allows free installations of several scripts. I am using 2 domains on the same account. I mainly use wordpress for my 2 sites. They don't have cron job option, so i need to rely on other external sources. Also my wordpress site loads very slow compared to other top hosts. I need to optimize heavily to get good load speed. Overall good experience with them. Not the best :(

They may not offer one click install features like fantastico and you can only host one dodmain but the support more than makes up for it. I have had a variety of sites with these guys going back 10 years. I don't even recommend other companies to clients - the support is that good. While they support is by e-mail only you are talking to a technician so your situation does not have to be upgraded. They promise response in an hour but I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They have always addressed any problems (mostly of my own creation) and have answered every question. I was even contacted by the CEO to see if the response was satisfactory. At the end of the day I can honestly say that I have absolutely no regrets with using this company.

What i like most about this company is that you can have multiples IP addresses if you intend to host more than a site. When i first bought hosting with them my site was loading very slow but now it is ok, uptime also ok. Support is good, what i don't like about this webhosting company is that you don't have cpanel, they have a different admin area layout which is kinnda rudimentary.

About six months ago we were looking for a new host and I ended up doing a lot of the research on this forum. We ended up going with Fused Network and I wanted to share my experiences and hopefully help other people looking for the same things that we were.
Basically we had been with Media Temple but had almost constant notifications of downtime for upgrades/updates/etc from them and some stunningly poor performance with regards to database access. We found out that it seemed to be a common complaint for people with their grid plan and a Wordpress site so we looked for a new host with both excellent support and excellent performance for a small-medium sized Wordpress based site.
We ended up going with Fused Network and haven't looked back since. The support has just blown us away with almost immediate responses to inquires or requests for help. Everything from migration to helping us troubleshoot problems that were clearly our own fault. I really didn't expect this level of service from a web host, but certainly appreciate it.
In addition up time has been great, outages rare, and performance worlds better than what we had before.
I can only speak from our experience but if you've got a growing site with a Wordpress back end and need a reliable host that will actually consistently deliver performance and service I can't recommend them enough.

I've been a Site5 customer for many months now and cannot fault them. In this time I have had to contact support in many occasions. The first time was because I wasn't able to access cPanel. The second time I used their live chat when I needed them to disable a module that was causing a problem with a new script on my site. In both insistences the issues were resolved quickly. In fact the second was done while I waited in live chat.. Speed and uptime are good to very good, I don't recall any major downtime instances during my time with site5 and the servers always seem to be fast as responsive. In regards to features and price, I would rate them excellent on price, features go hand in hand with the price. I choose 247-host.com based mostly on CNET references. After paying for a year on a reseller plan (by the way in which, subscribing for a year seems to be a big mistake when it comes to internet hosting), all my websites and my customer web sites have been working simply fine. After a month, web sites begin to go down for a few hours, principally for server automated processes like auto FSCK (forced into a kernal panic mode), file checks on servers and sort of maintenance processes.
In time things start to get worse and kind of messages from tech support like *there was an error on this server and we had to do an OS reboot* begin to annoy my clients. Plus ”help” service begin to grow to be as much as in-existent. Sometimes answers to any questions and queries arrive after 12 to 24 hours, as an alternative of minutes (correctly on a good hosting company).
Finally, all my websites start to be severely hacked and populate with viruses, than changed with different internet websites and mess continue with the worst possible.
Final attacked comply with by all my web sites fully down for nearly two complete days was on July 22, 2010. Of course, after two days where my net websites have been down and downgraded by Google, I decided to maneuver from service and ask for refund.
I did this on 24 Jul 2010. I requested for refund and moved on other supplier and deleted all my domains from 247-host.
After three days they reply to my refund request with this:
*There will be no refund provided. All data was restored on a timely manner as this event of hacking does require for us to go through a process that will restore data on the server and maximize security on the machine which cannot be done within 24 hours.*
Is like saying: ”Hey.. It is more than regular to have your website down than 24 hours (actuality it was: 34 hours down for some web sites and 49 hours for others).

I have hosted with Host Gator before and have never been disappointed with their service. I have had superb up-time and they are fairly reliable and very stable. I like most off all is how they communicate with you in regards to billing, errors, updates, changes, etc.
I have found their customer service to be a bit unprofessional at times, but I was always able to resolve my issues with them.
They boast an easy to use interface and provide access to systems and database management tools that even a newbie can use easily. I've been with Hostgator for last 6 months. I 'm pleasantly surprised with their great support and service. I've been with a stack of hosting companies and none of them were very helpful.. but this team is very responsive to any of my (frequent!) inquiries! They had a downtime I cant remember, t. I got consistent updates by email on exactly what was happening, no excuses, and the problem was solved before I knew it. Every host has downtime, and NONE deal with it that well.

I am a relatively new customer of DownTownHost (about 2 months plus now), and I have been very impressed by their service, both in terms of uptime and customer care. So far I have not noticed my website being down at any point of time throughout my term, except once where I could not upload somethings into wordpress, though the site could still be accessed at that same time. Furthermore the live chat is online most of the time, and any queries get answered really fast.
For me a webhost needs to have a few things - a good website design, no overselling, good reputation, a live chat button - all these things DownTownHost has. The only thing is that its plans are a bit pricey, unless you buy them in bulk. I got them at a discount though, so all's good :)

I just purchased bluehost web hosting a few weeks ago, I have another web hosting - godaddy before bluehost. Godaddy doesn't have live chat for shared web hosting, and it will take 24 hours to set up DNS or domains or database. So i really like bluehost's live chat, they are professional, answered all my questions in time. Well, the simplescript is another service what i like. But the free google adwords coupon i can't use, even i can't see the code because i'm not from US. What i disappointed about bluehost don't support wildcard DNS subdomain.

At first glance, HostGator is not impressive. I have 5 different websites hosted on ipage.com. If the question is price, you may choose Ipage. But, i am not happy about their hosting 100%. I like ipage because of price & they provide all unlimited facilities with a free domain for life time. But, I am not happy about the hosting quality. It's not like other high grade hosting companies. If your site gets attacked, they will suspend your site without notification. After the suspension, they will inform you. But, hostgator never does it like this. Other than that ipage.com's price is really reasonable and the quality is not so poor. So, you may choose ipage. Because, the downtime is not high.

Well I have been using hostgator shared hosting for around a month now. The service is good however there are lots restrictions. I'm on a baby plan which is unlimited bandwidth. However real in real its not. I got a mail from support within a week to upgrade my plan to VPS. However i did not and just tweaked my site a little and it worked. Well one more thing they don't allow heavy resource using scripts also. The Support is great and very fast. Overall its good for startup sites but I wont recommend it for huge sites.

Inmotion Hosting has been my fave host since 2005. I have used many web hosts bc I am a web developer. Many times I have had to choose the new hosting plan for the client..
At times I have found a better deal, and have decided to go with someone other than InMotion for hosting some sites... When this rarity has occurred I couldn't have been more displeased with the performance of other hosts. Compared to Inmotion Hosting I have encountered Horrible Problems.....

Having had a poor experience with a previous host, Dual Rack offered to move everything over from our old host, without us having to do anything. Hello, I've been using hostgator earlier and I must say I was extremely satisfied with it (I had to quit because of money lack). Then, I have found justhost along a promotion and I tried it (still using).
Justhost just have a brilliant support, set of features etc. but I'm not satisfied with the downtime of ftp (http still live and other services) which at a fixed hour 2 pm my time gets down for about 5-10 mins -not on a daily basis, just ocassionaly-. That's all, excepting that it's worth 100% if you're not a guy who connects to ftp extremely frequently.

HI,
We have a simple business web site using Tikiwiki open source package and a very few users. This morning Greengeeks just took our web site offline because tikiwiki index.php used more than 8% CPU time. There was no warning or no chance for us to look at the site or tikiwiki and to fix it. The site has just gone.
This type of behaviour from a hosting company is unacceptable. They should give a warning as it's not possible for a site owner using open source software to know what all the processes are and how much CPU time they use.
Greengeeks behaviour is totally unacceptable.

I've been with bluehost for 2 years going 3 years. What makes me a loyal customer to them is because if their 24/7 great customer support. When i have a issue, i will just open up the live support chat in their website, and my answer would be resolve as soon as possible. Their uptime is simply marvelous! Instead of being like other webhosting companies that mention they provide 99.9% uptime and did not really keep their word, Bluehost did it! If you sign up you will receive some adwords and yahoo ads credit for free, that is awesome when i first started to build my website.

HostGator gives me more freedom for my blog and in these 7-8 months I had no problems with them as well as my site always up so it is good for me and my readers. I have been a HostGator customer for the past 2 and half years now. Time seems to fly but may be this is due to the great service they have provided to me till now. I have never received a downtime ( I repeat..never..at least not when I was awake even while traveling in different time zones). Their customer support is super-friendly. It feels like you have a care-taker out there whenever your websites need some care. What fascinated me most is the price I pay for their hosting. It is just $9.95 per month. That is nothing in comparison to the service that I receive. I have used three other reputable companies for hosting my sites but none of them have impressed me like hostgator has. I recommend this company to anyone and everyone. Now, a major plus, they have includes VPS and reseller services too. I don't think I am ever going to switch my hosting. 10/10 to hostgator.

My honest review is that People should really avoid this host if you want to run any kind of web applications like Wordpress, Pligg etc. This host has quite a good uptime and good Customer Support but its main problem is it's features and it's Vdeck control Panel. Even though it provides a lot of advertising credits and a free domain and the price is also cheap, it is really not worth to buy a hosting with this host if you want to use any web application, a business website would do quite good in this host. I say again this Webhost is only good if you are going to host a company or a business website.

Before I was with JustHost, I was quite an inexperienced webmaster, with only two past hosts (HostGator, and GoDaddy), neither meeting my standards, I decided to venture off. JustHost was the best I've found.
The support was something I saw immediately good. As with any host, I had a few teething problems and needed some help getting used to my account. Waiting no more than two minutes each time on the Live Chat, and you've got a real person talking to you, with loads of experience... How great!
I mainly use my hosting there as a test bed, but do also run some sites there which JustHost suites perfectly for my needs.
Sure JustHost has it's downsides, it's classed as an "overseller" (where as I think that's not true, JustHost is great), registering a domain with them costs £10/$15, and you can't host certain types of domains with them (.cc for example).
My overall verdict is if you want a great general host, tonnes of space, for only £50/$75 every two years, then JustHost is what you want!
Also, I'm soon to try out JustHost Reseller. I'll be sure to give my verdict on that as well when I get it.

I've been using 247-host.com for nearly a year now. I was a bit cautious when signing up for a years hosting and I was careful to read reviews on various web hosting related sites. Their cPanel is one of the areas which always keeps me attracted and they keep it updated with latest software. I never have to manually install or upgrade any of the website features that I design with. On the bright side, their customer service is always efficient and expedient. They offer loads more that other hosts do not like like money back guarantee and seasonal promotions and affiliate plan, google credits, search engine submission and what not. The price is good, however, the servers arent super fast, a website that has allot of php/mysql going on and with some users u might get problems.

We purchased two years of service from this company; however, they failed to provide us with the username and password that would allow us to access the account. After 11 months of chasing them someone from their billing department FINALLY sent us the access information.
When we asked that they provide us the 24 months of service we paid for, they refused and claimed that their negligence was somehow our fault.
I wouldn't trust these people to host a Tupperware party.

The price structure of 247-host is extremely attractive and that’s not where it ends, support is definitely excellent. At the very least, a published support line and on-line chat that I've never had to wait for over 5 times on about 10 support calls/requests I've made. What I really like most is the detail they go into when providing you with assistance. I have always been able to get someone at any time of the day or night and best of all. I recently had an e-mail issue, it was fixed within 10 minutes via e-mail support! That's what I call speedy service! m very glad that I did the research. Even without a special deal (we're paying the 5.95 a month) how do you beat such a price which includes knowledgeable support either in a chat room (very quick) or by phone (still pretty quick as far as I'm concerned) AND shell access AND php/mysql AND unlimited email addresses with a choice of IMAP or POP (or both at the same time if you'd rather)....
We're very happy with the service. As we grow our other websites, we'll most likely be moving them from an in house server to hostmonster as well

First of all ALL customer support of webhostingbuzz.com is located in UKRAINE, which is a part of the former USSR. Terrible customer service. Seems like they barely understand english language; they do not answer to what is asked, but seems like they tell you what they know instead...
Webhostingbuzz hosting was down a lot of times. There is no week without a trouble ticket. I am really tired!!! Yesterday they just closed my domain, without notifying me in advance. I received an email from customer support on Sunday. It said in that email, that because of some "spam activity" on my website, my domain has to be shot down for an investigation. I wrote to them right the way,(weekend no phone hours!)and it had been over 20 hours now my website is down, however they never respond! Terrible! They closed my domain without any permission or notification and taking their sweet time now... Absolutely unacceptable!

This is Trey Gardner, CEO of Green Geeks.
I have been in the web hosting business for over 10 years. Unfortunately this reseller has decided to leave our service because of a program called AW Stats. Anyone who has used this program before knows that it is a severely limited web site statistics program that has come with the cPanel control panel for as long as I can remember.
In addition we attempted to keep Chris Kauminiski as a reseller client and we did try several attempts to keep his business when he had requested a refund. Our attempts to keep him as a client stemmed from the fact that we knew he and his clients would be better served if he stayed and used a better stats program. In searching through our tickets and communication with Chris the stats program issue seemed to have been the only complaint by him about our service. Ultimately he decided to go elsewhere and he was refunded.
Let me first say that AW Stats is terrible. It was a terrible program 8 years ago when I would try to use it to analyze the web site traffic of the web hosting company I worked and it has seen virtually no improvements since then. In addition it can take 24 hours for the stats to generate through AW Stats which was communicated to this former client and which is why he had a complaint about the program.
It was this 3rd party program which has issues with statistical updates as the cause for Mr Kauminski’s dissatisfaction.
We also advised Chris as we do with all our clients to use a far superior web site statistics program called Google Analytics. This is by far the best web site statistics program I have ever used and I have been tracking the statistics of web sites since I got into the internet in the 1990's. I have been using analytics now for over 3 years with great satisfaction, this program is free and is provided by Google.
If you were to compare AW Stats to Google Analytics, AW Stats would be the 3 day old cup of Foldger's instant brewed coffee made with unsanitary tap water compared to Analytics which would be the top of the line, mega grande espresso delight you would find at your favorite coffee house.
Unfortunately we could not convince Chris to switch to this far better program. We were sad to see him go and we do wish him well but we do hope that he switches to Analytics instead of AW Stats at some point as that should help alleviate some of his frustration.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please if you are looking at a good stats program to monitor your web site traffic, please take some time to look at alternatives to find the best program for you. Again I recommend Google’s Analytics which is free.

I've been with 247-Host.com.com for some time now and, though its very rare with hosting company customers, so far I'm very happy. Some how I have found their chat support online 24/7 and I personally use it quite a lot. It's satisfying to be able to quickly handle the technical side of hosting my site and remain focused on improving the content. BTW, I actually tried hosting a couple of sites with some other guys, but I really missed the chat support at 247-Host.com (I am admittedly impatient :-). To me the hosting experience with 247-Host.com is more personal and that extra level of service is easily worth the few extra bucks.

Originally we chose this company because they offered 50% off the first year. As they say, you get what you pay for. The staff have managed to screw up just about every aspect of hosting: billing, MX records, DNS records, backups -- if it's important to you, they've probably screwed it up. Their servers are regularly blacklisted, which means that you can't send mail to any mail servers that rely on blacklist information. It's not uncommon for no one to answer the support telephone number, even after you've waited on hold for 45 minutes. Messages to staff go unanswered, and help tickets routinely take more than a week to receive a cursory answer. Solutions, if they come at all, take much longer. The frontline support staff are pleasant, but are extremely limited in their technical knowledge. They will try to help, but in our experience, often make the problem worse because they don't pay attention to details or they simply don't understand what they're doing. If your problem gets escalated to Level 3 support, you might as well go on vacation because you won't be getting a response for weeks. We stayed with them for a year because we kept thinking that the support couldn't possibly get worse. We were wrong.

I have been having reasonable time with them so far. Nothing worth worrying. I got their uptime from http://www.webhostingstuff.com/uptime/247Hostcom.html which is since 2005 and never less than excellent on monthly basis. Also saw them as fastest growing host at http://hostreview.com/webhostaward/200705top10fastestgrowingwebhost.html and decided to go ahead with them. Never thought that it was a bad decision.

I signed up for their two year plan and paid in advance. Not only did they alter the plan mid-contract, they disabled my account without warning and posted an embarassing message on my three websites.
The message stated:
"Attention EliteHost customers: Our records indicate that you are on a hosting plan that is no longer available. Due to the downfall in the economy, EliteHost has reorganized it's price plans. We are no longer offering the yearly plans. You will need to convert to a month to month plan to resume your service, regardless of your existing plan with us. (Our terms of service states that we can change price plans at any time.) To re-activate your account on the month-to-month Unlimited plan: Monthly Price: $5.00 Enter your main Domain Name or cPanel Username below and press the subscribe button to enroll in an automatic paypal subscription payment to EliteHost"
I contacted the BBB to try to work out a deal in which I could access my account for a period of 30 days with the intention of backing up and removing my digital data and products.
They refused, stating "On our terms and conditions that was made available to the consumer multiple times during sign up as well as in our 'welcome' new customer information email, it clearly states that: ''This agreement represents the complete agreement and understanding between EliteHost and the Customer and supersedes any other written or oral agreement. Upon notice published on its web site, EliteHost may modify these terms and conditions, amplify them, and/or modify the prices, as well as discontinue or change any of the services offered.''
I learned my lesson, stay away from the small hosts and go with someone proven and true.

This host is great for small niche sites, not only because of the price, but also because it has some nice little features. Things like unlimited databases and the like for only $1.99 is hard to believe. I decided to test this host 8 months ago, as they have a 30 day money back, and I'm very happy with them.

I use the "Baby" HostGator account for my SEO niche sites. It was an amazing investment and I was glad to finally get off of Blogger and make the move to WordPress. The "Baby" account allows me to host as many websites as I want as long as I don't exceed my bandwidth and space for $10 a month.
HostGator has one-click install services for things such as WordPress and Drupal. This made the switch very easy and pretty stressfree.
I have experienced no downtime as of yet. The server speed is wonderful.

2Leaf is a great host. I only had downtime once when they were changing servers and they warned me beforehand. The speed is great and it is unmetered so I don't worry about using up my bandwidth. Even though I never met the limits in my previous hosts it is still nice to know I won't be cut off or charged more if I get on Digg or something. I've only had to contact their support once, but they responded within minutes. I was quite impressed. Much better than 1and1, WebHostingPad, and Cirtex, the three other hosts I have tried.

Even with MSSmarttags parsing code in the HEAD section, VEXXHOST still manages to hijack the page with MS (so-called) SmartTags, effectively stealing your audience. We have dozens of accounts with 32 hosts for our hundreds of large websites, and VEXXHOST is one of the remarkably few in our 12 years of hosting that scores an overall ZERO rating because of this.
We DO recommend Bluehost, Westnic, FatCow, 1and1, even GoDaddy, despite all the dirty things that GoDaddy does. Their hosting servers are fast and generally reliable. VEXXHOST will not be forgiven because they deny it, although the proof is right there in plain site/sight... until we move to a new host this week.

It took me some time and a lot of personal recommendations from pro photographers to find these guys. Been with them for a year now and they are superb. Not often in todays climate that you find a company that not only does what it says on the tin, but is serious about providing an excellent customer experience.
They specialise in hosting photographic websites and know their stuff inside out. The support is lightning fast and I've yet to find a problem (usually of my own making) that these guys couldn't fix.
If you want value for money from an ethical company then look no further.

I hosted with 247-host.com for shared hosting as well as reseller hosting before switching to my own dedicated server few months back.
In my 3 years with them I never felt that web hosting has issues in it as well. It was a total peace of mind, comfortable and smooth going. Now that I run my own dedicated server, I realize that the technicians with 247-host were well versed with server configuration and management. They could reach the issue related to database, security, server load management very quick and resolve it even quicker.
Normally they had been responding in 4 to 8 hours which I think is pretty good if the host has large number of customers to tackle. Technical support in term of response as well as know how has been very good with them.
I still cherish my stay with them.

Powweb has a great response to start-up issues for beginning web developer. The price for what you get is outstanding: unlimited space and transfer, very useful reports on your site flow, etc. Normal request for help tickets was within hours (you can pay for upgrade). I highly recommend Powwer hosting.

After a 3+ year run with Apollo Hosting that went from average to nightmarish, culminating with one straight week of downtime and the tech support team unresponsive or casting the blame at us, I vowed to better research our next hosting choice. I looked over the sea of potential hosting companies, many that placed at the top 99% on customer satisfaction reviews, only to find that many of these companies high %'s were based on only a few reviews. I began to sort through the litany and stumbled on U2-Web. This company stood out beyond the rest, not just in their strong rating but in that they appeared to have personally responded to every reviewer no matter what the tenor of the review. The fact that this company cared enough to follow up even with the customer that may have had an issue, told me that they truly cared about ALL customers. I called U2-Web's toll free line and almost immediately got a live person. I spoke with Steven and told him that I needed to get my site and mail up ASAP given the down time caused by my previous hosting company. Contrary to the 24 hr. expectancy, Steven had our site up in 3 hours! This included the web migration and some copy tweaks. I have been with U2-Web going on three months now. Reliability has been 100%. The personal care from Steven and the gang is second-to-none. Yes, we have finally found our hosting home, and it has a heart.

I am SO disappointed in the GoDaddy Wild West Hosting service. My site was down for FIVE DAYS due to a GLITCH IN THEIR SYSTEM, and NONE OF THE FIVE support people I talked to provided the correct information or remedy - even telling me to put input bad data NUMEROUS TIMES!! EVEN AFTER I CORRECTLY TOLD THEM THE PROBLEM!!
I LOST SEO PLACEMENT, TRAFFIC, and REVENUE as a result, and their entities made no gesture or attempt at easing that pain. A traffic blazer or something to help get us back on track would have AT LEAST been appropriate.
To recap: THE PROBLEM WAS THE FAULT OF THEIR SYSTEM, created at the outset by bad info from their representatives, and perpetuated by a complete lack of understanding of their system and additional erroneous info by the technical personnel I personally spoke with.
5 DAYS! And now they say they are going to "escalate my service ticket," but it could "take up to 72 hours for resolution!" What am I paying for? I will go else where, set-up a new account, and let it propagate for a day - and SAVE MYSELF 2 DAYS!
