Wordpress's website has a very detailed step-by-step process on how to install, upload, and run the installation script for those who are less computer savvy. Another option is to find a web host that has Fantastico in its control panel. Fantastico allows for an easy few click installation of Wordpress on your website.
Once everything is set up and in place you can start setting up the blog itself. The program includes templates and customizable widgets that can be easily rearranged without editing or coding knowledge, but has open source code so they can be easily edited if you have HTML and PHP coding knowledge. Wordpress also has many tools for easily changing the blog, using tools instead of needing to alter the code-things like making smart quotes, formatting, or style. It is very user friendly and if you ever need support there are many free Wordpress tuturials and guides on the web.
